"Bob, earlier in jest I mentioned coming in
second in a tournament and that a Sharpshooter
Shaft might elevate me to first. Well, Today I
played in my first tournament after getting the
Sharpshooter Shaft. I am not sure it was the
shaft or the hat but I did take the first place
trophy. Here is a Picture for you to smile at"

"Hi Bob; Ben Boyd here. Just wanted to give my
opinions on your SharpShooter shaft. It is difficult
to express in words my respect for the quality of
workmanship evident in the Sharpshooter shaft I
recently bought. I carefully examined it in detail and
two words describes my opinion: "Zero Defects".
It came with a Medium hard 11 layer water buffalo
tip which quickly became my favorite because of the
ease with which I can maneuver the cue ball around the
table for position. Especially my ability to draw the
cue ball with ease and control. I am not blowing smoke.
If you are a top performing player (Capable of running
racks of 8 and 9 ball fairly often) you know that the
butt is for weight, balance and feel and that it is
the tip and the shaft that determines the playability
of the cue. If you are climbing the skill hill I
suggest you make the journey easier by using the best
equipment you can get.
The SharpShooter shaft is as good as you will
find. Better than any I have found. The Sharpshooter
is not a cheapie but well worth the price. It is
cheaper than the Predator 314 which is a very good
shaft also. I favor the Sharpshooter because for the
smoothness and the quality of the hit. I could go on
and on about the pleasure of owning a Sharpshooter
shaft but the proof is in the pudding. Ask someone who
owns one to use theirs and learn that superior shafts
makes for better play. Dealing with Bob Moss is a
pleasure unusual in today's world. He truly
appreciates your business and has the ability to show
that appreciation. I hereby give Bob permission to use
this endorsement without any obligations whatsoever in
any manner he chooses because I feel that any help I
give Bob is helping the players even more.

"Hi Bob, About six months ago you had the shaft
(below) made for me. I also have Predator Z and 314
shafts as well as a Tiger X and an Annie O shaft. The
shaft that I bought from you is by far the best shaft
that I've ever used - - and most of my friends concur!
I would like to order two more of the shafts as
described below - - one for a spare and one for my
son. Please let me know your current price for the two
shafts and I'll get a PayPal payment sent off to you.
Best regards,"
Nick Taylor
P.S. "Please be sure to specify the 1/16 inch
black phenolic collar to match the Predator P2 butt!"

The next Comment below is about one of our Euro Taper
12.5mm shafts from a customer in Hi. We also custom
make these in smaller diameters to suit our customers
preferences. A euro taper shaft will have a more solid
feel so the diameter can be reduced further for a more
solid feeling hit in smaller diameters while still
greatly reducing deflection
"Hi Bob; The shaft is awesome. First thing I
noticed was that it was a very thick shaft so I see
how someone could break with it and it wouldn't be too
bad. I love the tip, it really works for me. I feel
more confident shooting longer shots because I have
more control of the cue ball compared to my original
shaft. Thanks a lot!"
Raymond from HI.
"Tthe SharpShooter shaft is fantastic, even better
than my original Meucci black dot shaft. Great feel
and a real solid hit, I think I can improve my game by
using this shaft, but as I mentioned, right now a lot
of work to do. I can't concentrate to play pool
seriously in the last time, this is annoyed. I've lost
my last league game on saturday against a really bad
player, normally I should beat him. But some weeks ago
I played great at a 8 ball tourney and did it to the
3rd place, a really good result for me. At this
tourney I beat two very good premier league players as
well. But right now I've also the problem that there's
no time left for practicing, so I'll play my next
league game tomorrow without any practice this week.
Hope things will run smoother at work in the next
time.
Take care! Bernhard of Berlin Germany

" Hello, I got my SharpShooter shaft Monday Jan
12, I am impressed by the craftsmanship of the SS
shaft, It fitted very well with my Predator Butt which
worries me a while whether I made a bad decision of
not sending the butt for fitting, The SS shaft is
smooth to the touch and the hit is stiff which is my
preference. It didn't’ really take me long to adjust
to the speed and playability of the SS shaft but then
again I was playing on my own pool table maybe I'll
try shooting on a neutral ground this Sunday and see
what happens. Thank you for my new shaft and more
power to you."

"Hi Bob,
I've received the shaft yesterday, it's really an
amazing shaft, great craftsmanship (many thanks) and a
very smooth finish. It has a very solid hit and I can
apply even more english than
with the Meucci Black Dot shaft. It fits perfectly to
my Meucci Gem Cue, really great work. I wishes you and
your family a Happy New Year!"

"Hi Bob: I recently purchased one of your Cowboy
Sharpshooter shafts on eBay for my Huebler cue. It is
the most consistent, fantastic shooting shaft I have
ever shot in my 40+ years of shooting very high level
pool. Thanks"

"Bob, This new Sharpshooter shaft is incredible. I
know you fitted it to the Schon butt I sent you, but I
have two other Schons as well and tried your shaft on
them, too. To my surprise, it shot much better with my
super grade Schon than the one it was fitted to and
the other one which was a lower end Schon. The high
grade cue was a 21 oz. and the one you guys fitted was
a 20 oz. It out performed any shaft I have ever shot
with (including other popular laminated shafts) in
over 40 years of playing pool. Thanks a lot for a
great product at a great price."

" The Sharpshooter Laminated shaft is a layered,
flat laminated shaft being sold by Bob Moss, or Cowboy
Bob, as he is known to his friends.
I
had one made for my Arnot Deluxe Yellow Jacket cue,
and I now use it more than the T3 shaft that came with
the Yellow Jacket cue.
Not
that the T3 shaft is not good...in fact, it is very
good. Better than a P shaft in my opinion. It's just
that the Sharpshooter shaft gives me more feel...and I
get more english out of it than with the T3. You
should see how I can make the CB dance all around the
table! I used to hate doing full follow shots...but, I
found that I could easily do it with the Sharpshooter
shaft, and with control to boot!
When I performed the deflection test using the T3, P.,
normal Hard Maple shaft, and the Sharpshooter shaft on
my Arnot cue (yes, I have 4 shafts for my cue), I
found the T3 to have the least deflection, followed by
the Sharpshooter and P. (tie between the two), and the
normal Hard maple shaft had the most deflection. The
shaft can be tapered to your specs, and comes with a
Hercules layered tip. It is very well made, really
smooth. If you want to purchase this shaft, get in
touch with Bob"

" The feel of the shaft when shooting is is a Good
Solid Hit with positive feedback, what i mean is when
shooting shots with extreme english with my Joss
shaft, the shaft seemed whippy but not with the
sharpshooter shaft. Plus this shaft creates ton's of
English. Highly Recommended.
I
have only had a couple of days of playing with the
Sharpshooter shaft I bought from Bob Moss, but I can
already see it replacing my P. shaft as my primary cue
shaft.
I
have been using P. shafts for about 4 years on several
of my cues, as well as having 2 predator cues in my
collection. I had always enjoyed the solid hit I
received from the P. shaft over the normal Hard Maple
shafts that had come with the cues originally and had
no real interest in changing until I tried the
Sharpshooter. The hit has a more solid feel and has
less perceived deflection than the P.. I don't have
anything to base my opinion on except for the feel of
the hit, but I like it better every time I shoot with
it. Also the cost of the shaft is really impressive
given the quality and the cost of other shafts on the
market. Just my humble opinion."

"I've been using the Sharpshooter Shaft for about
6 months which I purchased from Bob Moss at American
Cowboy Billiards. I had it custom made at 29 3/4" with
a 5/16x14 joint and Bob did everything I wanted to
accommodate my needs. I found the shaft to be superior
to the Predator 314 which I have used in the past with
much more "feel" to the shaft and a much superior
aegis ferrule than the 314 or the M. Black Dot. The
Hercules Balabushka Tip on the Sharpshooter is also
one of my favorites, as it gives me fantastic control
and the ability to do "magic" things with the cue ball
and the combo of this shaft and tip is the best I've
ever played with. I would highly recommend both the
shaft and especially Bob Moss to anyone who wishes to
improve their pool game or just to talk pool with Bob,
the best guy on Ebay.

Bob, after putting the shaft I bought from you away
for more than a year, I
started using it again and found a new love for it.
Hits great, very little
deflection on my Predator, anyway. Thanks for a great
shaft. Mike
